- We have a churn at home. It is about four feet high. It is about two feet wide at the top, and the same width at the bottom. The sides are round. The churn is about ten years old. The various parts of the churn are called, the handle, the lid, the beaters, the stand, the peg, and the barrel. There is no mark on the side of the churn. Butter is only made once a week in the summer, and in the winter. My mother does the churning.
