  1. We have the month of June now. It is the second month of summer. There are thirty days in it. The days are getting longer and longer the nights are getting shorter and shorter. The birds are to be heard singing in the sky morning and evening. The sun rises early in the morning and does not set till late in the evening The grass is growing in the fields. The stalks are growing in the fields. The lambs are to be playing in the fields. The ground is very wet.
