  1. The appearance of the country looks bare. The grass is beginning to grow. The trees are beginning to bud. The sun does not rise early in the morning but it sets late in the evening. The days are getting longer and longer and the nights are getting shorter and shorter. The flowers are beginning to grow on the trees. There is an odd flower growing now. The daisies are beginning to bud on the ground. The sun does not give out good heat. The little birds are to be heard singing morning and evening and many times during the day. The leaves are beginning to bud on the trees. The primroses are beginning to grow now. The people are working hard now setting their potatoes, and oats. The birds will soon be making their nests
