    There was once a man in Aran who used be out very night shooting. One night he was out late when he was going past a house he heard people talking he listened as he hear one of the men telling the other to put out the child through the window. When the man heard this he knew it was fairies as the fairies used take away little children. The man went over to the window and when he saw the child he fetched it and took it home. Next day the babys mother came to the mans house and told the man her baby was dead. The man told his story to the woman and told her her
