  1. 1) "Cnoc an Gearan Bán"
    is a hill below Claren-bridge where O'Donnell encamped his army. He used to ride on a white horse, so when he left, the place was called after him.

    2) "Crochan na gCuinneóg"
    On Mulrook, Kilcolgan there is a large hill called "Crochan na gCuinneóg" and it is said that the fairies used to churn there.

    3) Tobar Crunán
    In Balamana, Marea, there is a well called "Tobar Crunán"
    A flag divides the water. The water on one side of the well can be boiled, but that on the other side never can be boiled.
