    St. Stephens night has come and gone. It comes on the twenty fifth night on the December. On St. Stephens night all the boys of the village gather together, they dress up in different clothes they put a covering on their eyes.
    They then go round from house to house in search of pennies, when they have a large sum of money collected, they divide it out equally amongst themselves. On St. Stephens day the boys and girls go out in
