    search of the wren. If they get her they try to kill her. They then get a brush, and they leave her up on it and they also go round from house to house singing an Irish rhyme in praise of her.
    The reason they do this is, when the soldiers were trying to catch St. Stephen to kill him, they came to this certain tree and sat down to reset themselves under it. There happened to be a wren in the tree, and she got frightened and she flew out making a great noise, the soldiers looking up saw St. Stephen and they arrested him.
