    Once upon a time a man by the name of John Staunton lived between the historic village of Manulla and Carrawmore lake. He was unmarried and alone. One summer evening while saving hay by the lake-shore he was astonished to see a lady bathing in the water close by. He withdrew for some distance and watched to see would the fair one come to shore, but on looking around he saw she had fled so he returned home disappointed, but determined
