    When he came near it he daw it was only a butt of tree with sheets rolled around it,so that any one by looking at it would think it was a ghost, ora stranger figure of some kind.

    Another story is, one night John O’Brien of portdrine, cratloe was coming home from Meelick by a railway as he came up on the railway bridge he saw a woman dressed in white and she kept before him until he got to the other side, then she disappeared,It was Robert Frost, Portdrine Cratloe told me this story’
