Pat Mac Namara has a very old churn.

Pat MacNamara has a very old churn. It is three feet in height. The churn is fifteen years old. The names of the parts of it are the dash, the cup, and the lid. It was generally in the Summer that the butter was made. Mrs. MacNamara usually made it. If a stranger came in while the butter was being made he should take a hand at it because if he did not the people would not get a good price for the butter. It is a dash churn. They worked the dash up and down.
