    from the point of it, a hole is bored in it and a strong square wooden peg is driven into it. When the setter is setting the potatoes he presses on this peg with his foot. This peg also keeps the skeveen from making too deep a hole. Her is he shape of a skeveen.
    When the holes are made the children are employed with buckets of potatoes to put a potato set or sgellan as we call them in every hole. This work dropping the sgellan in every hole made by the setter is called guggering.
