  1. I got this story from:- Mrs. D. McKeon
    Bridge Street Cootehill, Co. Cavan
    aged about 80 years
    Very valuable treasure is supposed to hidden in the Hoop Hill in the Belamont Estate the Barony of Tullygarvey. It was supposed to be hidden there by the O'Reilly Chieftans during the Cromwelllian Plantation.
    It is said to consist of golden coins, silver vessels, and some swords and ornaments of gold. No attempts have been made to unearth it as the man who hid it was hung shortly afterwards
