    or Whit Monday for it is said it will kill some one or get killed. People don't like to have animals born on wither of theses two days. No person is to go near water on Whit - Sunday or Whit - Monday for it is counted unlucky.
    The 15th August of Our Lady's Day and the 29th June is St. Peter and St. Paul's day.
    People visit holy wells on the eve of these two feasts.
