    burrow and he eats roots and young rabbits.
    The Ferret. The ferret is kept by sportsmen to hunt rabbits. When they would let the ferret into a burrow they put a muzzle in him so that he would not eat the rabbits.
    The Squirrel. The squirrel lives in a nest in a tree he gathers nuts in the Summer and stores them for the Winter.
    The Weasel. The weasel lives in a burrow. He kills rabbits and drinks their blood and he kills rats too.
    The Otter. The otter lives in the water and he eats fish and birds. The skin of the otter is very valuable. They are not plentiful around here.
