  1. Over forty-five years ago there was a house in Cranny flooded. A big grey cat was sleeping in a bag. Cat and bag were swept out the door. There was a nest of mice in the bag and the cat lived on that nest of mice until he reached Bantry Bay.

  2. A sack of hay was swept out the Shannon. On its way out several floating objects were entangled in the hay including turnips, potatoes bits of wood and many other things.
    There were four rabbits in the hay and they lived on the turnips until they reached North America.
