- About two years ago, a farmer was knocking a wall of an old house. He got a half-penny.
In it are the figures 69.
The coin is tarnished so it is not easy to distinguish the marking in it, On one side there is a wolf-hound. On the other side of the coin there are eight or nine letters along the outer edge. Some of the letters look like A.F.Y.
Being such an old coin it is interesting.- Collector

- A workman was one day working in a farm. He was knocking a stone wall, He suddenly saw a coin glittering. He picket it up, and spent some time examining it, but he could not read it.
The coin was rusted and he rubbed sand to it but the rust would not come off. He was unable to read the writing.
