    Every fort in the district is connected with fairies.
    This happened at Kilmore three miles from Nenagh. A man named Con lived in Kilmore long ago.
    This night he was returning from Nenagh Fair. On reaching this fort he felt very tired and he went into the fort to take a rest.
    He was not long inside when he saw a beautiful procession of small people and at the head of them was their Queen dressed in a cloak of gold and a gold crown on her.
