  1. There is a man living in Kilbarn about eight miles from Nenagh. One night at about twelve o'clock he was going home, he had to go through a field in which there was a fort. When he was passing it he heard lovely music and saw lights shining in the fort, he looked towards it and he saw crowds of people dancing and playing. He went home anyway and told what he had seen, so next night he went there again but there was no sign of the fairies until midsummers night again.
