First get the potatoes and wash them very cleanly. Next peel them and get a rasp and scrape them. When they are all scraped put the boxty into a basin with a little salt and add as much flour as well do it and make a cake of it. Then get a knife and cut the cake in four squares. Then bake it in a hot oven until it becomes a golden brown on each side. Serve very hot with butter and tea or coffee.
