    that night.
People usually went in sidecars or on horseback to marriages. The women went on horseback behind the men as there was a kind of seat made with hair and called a pillion.
It was fastened by a girt to the ordinary saddle for the women. Then at a wedding a number of boys dressed like wRen Boys and called Strawboys or Bacac's came in at different times of the night congratulating the married couple.
