  2. There are many forts in school district such as "Cathair na nGort" - there are 3 forts in the townland of Carradotia and each in view of the other. They are all circular in shape. There is a rod fence around each. The Danes built them in order to protect themselves from war. Long ago people lived in them, and have often been seen and heard of. There are many stories attached to them. In one fort there is
