  1. In the neighbouring townland there is a mound in the middle of a field with bushes and stones on it. The owner at one time went to clear it away and from that on his stock went to die around the house. He went and told his story of what was happening to some old person, and that old person advised him to leave the stones and the bushes alone, he took away back and from that on the cattle never died.
