    All those forges are near a crossroads but I think none of them are near a stream.
    The roof is covered with asphalt and the door is shaped like a horse shoe. There are two fire-places in Pat Kiernan's forge but there is only one fire place in use now. Pat says there was better trade long ago than to-day and that is why he only uses one fire.
    The people say that if a person who had sore feet washed his feet in the water in the blacksmith's trough his feet would get better.
