  1. A rainbow in the morning is the sailors warning. (storm on sea)
    A rainbow in the evening is the shepherd's delight. (bad weather.)
    If the wind blows either, North, South, East, West on Hallow Eve it will blow that way for three months.
    The South wind brings the most rain.
    The robin sings at the foot of the hedge when rain is approaching, and when good weather is approaching she sings at the top of the hedge.
    When birds fly low it is a sign of rain, and when they fly high it is a sign of good weather.
