and the horse the pigs eat out of a trough. When the pigs are being fed they are called by saying "Deoch! Deoch!"
We have a cat which we call by the name Puss. This cat was reared outside by his mother Blackie and because of that she only comes into the house when she is hungry and is seeking milk. She is a big, lovely black cat and from being 'brought up' outside has very clean habits for which we prize her much.
Our dog's name is Beauty. He is brown with a white ring round his neck. His house is a kind of half passage through a ditch or stone wall by a gate in the street in front of the house. We have the passage lined with boards and on the floor we place a bed of clean straw; the make-up house is thus quite comfortable and protected from rain.
