    honeymoon, so now they cannot do this, and just visit the brides home where the wedding party is held.
    The people tie an old boot as an omen of good-luck on the back of the car in which the bride and groom travel.
    People ask people to the brides house for their dinner the day she gets married and on that night there is music and dancing. There is always a big wedding- cake and everyone gets a bit of it to dream on that night. The bride and groom cut the first slice of the wedding cake.
    Some years ago "Runaway Matches" were common. The man came and got the girl to leave her home secretly, and he brought to the house of one of his friends or relatives. When the girls relatives discovered that she was gone, if they wished they followed her and brought her back and then started discussions to settle
