  1. There is a cross-roads in the townland of Kiltreasna. Every Easter Sunday night and every Christmas night there are three men seen at it and only one head on them. The seem to be about a foot away from each other and the man with head in the middle of them.
    There is also a cross - called "Sheirdans Cross", and it is foretold that there is a crock of gold in a field beside it. It is said that *that) there is an old woman minding it. The old people say there are three lives to be lost at the getting of it.
