  1. There lived in the village of Ballinagh a man named Tom Divine. He was an egg - dealer and he used to go into Arva to buy eggs
    He had no cart or animal to carry the egg - boxes and he had to carry them under his arm. He used to get up at seven o'clock every morning and after putting on his clothes and eating his breakfast he would start for the road. The distance between each town is eight miles. He was able to walk it in one hour without ever stopping.
