    Whistles Get a horse-chestnut and make a hole in it with a nail. Take out the substance that is inside the chestnut. Then blow into the shell and a loud shrill whistle is heard.
    A Bugle Children get a broad piece of grass and put it between their two thumbs and blow against the edge of it and the noise heard is like that of a bugle.
