    The old people had always some special prayer getting up in the morning, going to bed, and lighting the fire. In the morning they said to the Angel of the Lord I am committed to guide me, to govern me from all sin and danger, now and for evermore. Amen.
    This night as I lie down to rest, I leave my head on Mary's breast.
    As Jesus done when He was young,
    Mary's dear beloved Son.
    This prayer is said at night before getting into bed. The following prayed is also said at night before
