  1. Long ago it is supposed there was a certain field in Ballinagun in the late Pat Reidy's place. The McMahon's that lived there then. It is supposed that they had a horse and he had golden shoes.
    The horse was buried in this field and ever since two lights are seen minding the horse with the golden shoes. One night three men followed the lights but they could see nothing (but they could see nothing) but the print of a man's left leg.
