  1. A STORY
    Brian Boru left Kincora with his army and came down the Shannon. The first place they arrived was to Scattery Island. They then left the Island and went to Kilrush and remained there for a few days.
    They then left Kilrush and came up through Cooraclare and there Brian Boru left his army. He then rode on his horse with one of his soldiers towards Cahermurphy as the Danes were camped in the fort and Brian Boru could not get in to the fort as the gates were locked.
