  1. I am a seventh son, and many cures are still believed to be held by the seventh son of a family. The people believe though that before the cure is effective, the seventh son must go through a certain ritual - that is to say, he must drink asses milk. I have been asked to do this, but my father and mother would not let me. The diseases that the seventh son is supposed to cure are mainly skin diseases, such as the "evil" or "running sores".
