    Dandelion: Is a good cure for the liver.
    Sour dock. It was used for Skin diseases and it cured them.
    Pile root: cures piles.
    White Lily roots and hemlock is a good cure for swellings.
    Kidneys: Broom used to be boiled and given as a drink for the kidneys.
    Butchers-broom. Was used a good a good cure for swollen joints:
    Holy Wells: There is a Holy Well to be seen in Cúl Bán and you may bring a bottle of water with you for three certain days; Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and you would be cured of anything
