  1. The Black Dog
    My father was going to Dromkeen from Butlersbridge one night at twelve o'clock about 20 years ago. Just as he was going up at Cole's gate he saw something black in front of him he tried to get in front and could not. When he got up beside it he saw it was a big black dog and its two big eyes shining. When he got past it, it disappered through the hedge and he did not see it any more. Many other people saw it in the same place.
