  1. In a fort in Mrs Marron's land in Dnimullig [?] (Sheet 20. 6" ord survey map 1912 edition) there is supposed to be hidden treasure a pot of gold put there by the Danes. A man called Tom Wilson of ... who dreamt of it three nights in succession & tried to get it.
No less than 3 men could go to dig for it, & they were to have candles lit when digging. Besides this there ought to be a death in the family of some one of the diggers.
Tom satisfied himself that all was right - dream three nights in succession & there was a death - & they went to dig, but their nerve failed & they ran away.
