  1. There is a fairy fort in our district. It is owned by Mr Rehill Loughnoe.
    There were fairies seen in it. On a dark night there is seen a light going round and round it. There is also a stile in it and it is said that if you slip you will hear the fairies laughing at you.
    One day a man was training his horse in the fort, and he heard a voice and the voice said (that) "you will not go round again," and at that the horse fell and broke his neck.
