  1. About 30 years ago mother and Auntie had been sitting out side in an out house minding a sow and a litter of pigs. When they were going into their house, they were alarmed hearing a Ban-shee crying and they did not see her. About three minutes after, the cock crew wickedly. It was about twelve o'clock in the night. They got such a fright they did not go out side that night any more. They did not hear of any death. This story was told me by my mother.
