  1. First you have to pull the straw into bundles. Then you pull some bad thatch off the house and make holes in the thatch to put the tops of the straw in, and when you thatch a bit you have to twist and bend the rods and put some lying on the thatch and stick more down to hold the rods that you left lying (tite) on the thatch tight. Then you have to rake off any straws that are loose (off) and when you are finished you have to cut some straws off the easen.
