    Well the tramp stuffed the windows, and doors, and chimneys with mats, straw and clothes so that even a breath of air would not get in. He told them to start the churn. They were no time churning till Ann Veitch came roaring to its door. He had 9 red irons in the fire when she came, and it was there used to murdering her, and causing her to roar. Home she went, and the minister was brought to her. He could not get in to her, nor no one could get in either. He put something in through the window and got in to her. She died next morning from burns. No more butter was taken then. When anyone took the butter the milk was spoiled, and there was a smell off it.
    There was a man going to the fair on May morn. As he was going along he saw a woman at a Spring well, and she was winding a rope made of hair all around, and saying at the top of her voice. "All to me": "All to me". The fellow didn't know what was up and he shouted "the half to me". He went to the
