  1. There was a woman who had an only son, and everywhere this boy went he was sure to see the fairies going over mountains riding horses. One day his mother brought him to the priest and told all about the way her son could see the fairies. The priest told her to keep the boy indoors for a few days and he would be alright. This day the mother went out for water and left the boy inside alone. When she came in she saw that her son had disappeared and a little fairy boy left instead. This fairy child grew up very silly.
