  1. There are various names on the cows around this place.
    Our cow's name is "Polly cow."
    There is a place not far here called after cows.
    "Annamoe." It is a small village and the "Avon More River" flows past it.
    Long ago there was a crossing through it called a ford and the cows used to cross it.
    There are cowhouses and there are bails made from wood in them.
    There are stakes in some houses and a chain on them to tie the cows necks.
    There is generally Palm hung up in the rafters of the cow-house to bring luck to it.
    My Grandfather Mr. Michael McGowan told me on the 6th of May 1938.
