    Long ago in the Penal days the priest had to say Mass on the rocks. There is one place in this district called "Fraughans" where the priest used to say Mass and his vestments were supposed to be hidden in a cave under a thorn bush in the field.
    That field is called "The Church field" ever since.
    There is a blessed well by the side of the road called "Fraughan's well" and the old people used to take water from it for cures. It would cure pains and sores.
    Some people interfered with the well and they had bad luck after it.
    They say it is unlucky to interfere with a blessed well.
