    Road because long ago there were old thatched houses situated by the side of that road and when they became disused the sparrows built their nests in them.
    The "Church Road" leads west to Athy It derives it's name because it leads by the Protestant Church.
    The "New Road" leads north towards Kilcullen. It was called the New Road because it is built only about two or three years.
    The Tober Road leads north from Dunlavin to the important towns of north Wicklow
