  1. A funny story
Long ago there was an Irishman, an English man, and a Scotch man in England. The three men took their lodgings in the same house and they were sleeping in the same room. They had three houses and they were in the same stable. The Englishman got up in the night and went out into the yard where they had the horses tied. When they came in the Irishman went out to see what they had done. When he went to the stable where the horses were he saw the tail cut off his horse and hanging on a nail in the stable. Then he went out into the yard and got a knife and cut the other mens horses sides, they saw the horses and asked what happened them. The Irishman said they burst thin sides laughing at his horses tail hanging on the nail.
