    There's a ditch called the money hill ditch. There's money in the hill and this ditch. Years ago two men came out from Shinrone to dig for money and after working very hard with spades + picks, they got terrible ill + weak could proceed no further + had to be carried home but found no money. Several people did the same + all got ill. Messrs Baileu Bros, now own the hill.
    Wingfield got its name tradition tells us, That a large lock
