  1. A Burn
    1. Some people can cure a burn by licking it, in this district there is a man named Ruttledge who can do this. Any one has the cure who licks an Al-Pluca when he is born.
Carron oil rubbed on cures a burn; this is made by steeping roche lime in cold water over night skim off the scum in the morning, and stir, then strain, and mix with linseed oil until the mixture is like the beaten up yolk of an egg.
