    times but it is not continued now a days.
    Thatching was also a great industry in this district in the past and it is just as prevalent in the present.
    Carpentry was also very common in Leamonaghan in olden times but it has died out as the years passed. This consisted of the making of barrels, cart-wheels and churns. The churns that were made in olden times were not like the ones that are made now-a days, as they used to be made like a bee-hive by the old carpenters of long ago.
    Kiln burning was also very common in this district and it is still alive but not so
