    had an other way for paying. If one man gave his neighbor a day's work instead of pay he got another day's work. Sunday is supposed to be an unlucky day for transacting business and Friday a lucky day.
    Many of the coins long ago are gone out of date by now. A four penny bit, a four shilling piece, a sovereign, a crown and many others are never to be found. The various coins have different names a shilling is called a bob, sixpence a tanner, a pound note a quid, a penny a copper and so on.
