- In my parish I know a forge belonging to Joseph Flanagan. His people have been at the same trade for seventy or eighty years. His forge is situated on the road leading up to the convent.
The forge is a medium-sized building with a slated roof, one big window, and two big wide half-doors. There is one large fireplace of clay. The bellows is a big leather instrument used for blowing the fire to heat the iron. His implements are the(continues on next page)- Collector
